MONTBELL

Founded in the Japanese region of Osaka in 1975, friends Isamu, Fuaiki and Sachiko set out to create outdoor gear at a cut above the rest, embarking first on the production of sleeping bags and tents, before turning to apparel. By 2005 the brand was selling its mountain gear across Europe, following the Japanese tradition kinobi, meaning ‘function is beauty’.
